This policy describes Adam’s Personal Hermes, operated by Adam Gladfelter for personal use, and its public information website at thegladfelters.com. It is not a public hosted assistant service.

Google data accessed

Depending on permissions granted and the task requested, the assistant may access email messages and metadata; calendar events and attendees; Google Drive files and metadata; Google Docs and Sheets content; and contacts. Authorized tasks may also send or organize email, create or change calendar events, and modify files or documents.

Purpose and processing

Google account information is used for personal productivity tasks requested by the owner. Relevant content may be sent to the configured third-party AI provider for inference. Requests and replies may also pass through the messaging service used to interact with the assistant, such as Telegram. Those providers process data under their applicable terms and settings.

The assistant is not operated to sell Google user data, serve advertising, or build advertising profiles. Google user data is not intentionally used by this integration to develop or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Provider-side retention and data-use settings must be reviewed separately; this policy does not promise zero retention by external providers.

Storage, retention, and security

OAuth credentials are stored on the owner-controlled deployment. Conversation history, tool results, logs, generated files, backups, and configured memory or knowledge services may retain task-related content. There is no fixed automatic deletion period promised by this deployment. Data remains until the owner removes it or applicable retention settings expire. Deletion from an active store may not immediately remove backup copies or provider-held records.

The private assistant and Google credentials are not published by this static website. Infrastructure access controls and protected credential storage are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Website visitors

This site uses no analytics scripts, advertising scripts, cookies, external fonts, or account forms. The web server, reverse proxy, security services, and network providers may process IP addresses, request paths, timestamps, and browser information for delivery and security.

Revocation and deletion

The owner can revoke Google access at Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not itself delete information already retained. For questions or requests to review or delete retained data, contact adam@thegladfelters.com.

Google API data use

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
